For the first time, we are also offering a limited number of "advance reserved seats" for specific seating areas within the large tent, depending on the occasion. In addition to "Yokohama Citizen Thanks Day," which offers free admission to locals, and plenty of other entertainment for all ages, "BayStars Day" will be held for the first time, a special event to support the Yokohama-based professional baseball team, the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. These events are also aimed at promoting the local community.
What is the event?
What is Oktoberfest?
Oktoberfest is the world's largest beer festival, which has been held in Munich, Germany since 1810. Since 2003, the Oktoberfest has been hosted in the historic Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, which features elements of German architecture. It offers visitors a chance to experience a setting that closely resembles the authentic Oktoberfest in Germany. This year marks the 21st time the festival has been held. Recognized as a "hallmark of autumn" in Yokohama, last year it attracted over 120,000 visitors, making it one of the major events at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse.

Introducing advance reserved seats! We are introducing a limited number of "advance reserved seats" for the first time, allowing you to designate specific seating areas within the large tent for a fee depending on the occasion!
There are two types of seating areas available.

- The seats marked with ✪ on the map are advance reserved seats.
- Area in front of the stage
- These seats allow you to enjoy the live performance of the Yokohama Oktober Fest's famous German Orchestra up close. Recommended for individuals and groups who want to dance, sing along, and have fun.
- During the performance, many people will gather in front of and behind the reserved seats to sing and dance along with the music. Sustainabul
SDGs Initiatives
Sustainability initiatives that are overly challenging or strict are hard to maintain.
To ensure the longevity of sustainable practices,
rather than relying solely on a sense of obligation, it is essential to incorporate elements that inspire a positive desire to engage.
In other words, sustainability with a bit of excitement—
slightly fun, a little interesting, and somewhat cool.
We propose a sustainable approach that embodies the cheerful spirit of the Red Brick Warehouse.

- Plastic-free
- Committed to sustainability, our plates, cutlery, straws, cups, etc., for serving are plastic-free

- Deposit Glass System
- Adopting a glass deposit system similar to the one used at Germany's Oktoberfest, a pioneer in SDGs, to help reduce waste.

- Decarbonization
- All generators at the venue use GTL fuel derived from natural gas, which reduces CO₂ emissions by 8.5% compared to diesel.

- Fry to Fly Project
- A project to convert waste oil into aviation fuel
is being implemented as an initiative to realize a carbon-free society
